12 days old - Evie's first freckle?
So I managed to freak M&D out today - they thought I'd developed my first freckle.
Unlikely since I've only been outside twice, and the sun hasn't been out in Potters Bar since August.
Anyway, turns out (once Dad had decided to be brave enough to touch it) that it was some Nutella!
Nice one Mum.
(and don't forget to comb the toast crumbs out of my hair either - otherwise I'll get the healthcare visitor onto you).

10 days old - our first play together
5 days old - back home
1 day old - time for a well earned rest
Joe:
I apparently look like my Dad, which is bad news. I'm already saving for Grecian 2000.
Evie:
I have a very minor 'incomplete' cleft lip, but my palate is fine. I get plastic surgery in 3 months to fix it - plus I get the option of a nose job if I want one when I'm 17 - cool! (not that I need one, but hey - a girl's gotta have options)
We're quite happy sleeping for now.

minus 20 weeks - getting a little cramped
So by now we've got faces, arms, legs, hands, feet, in fact we're almost fully formed.
If any of you can figure any of that out from this image, you're doing better than Dad.
Mum is getting very uncomfortable because Joe insists on kicking the crap out of her stomach, and Evie is head-butting her uterus.
Joe is also getting hiccups on a daily basis.

minus 34 weeks - the adventure begins...
A quick word about our authors - until Joe and Evie learn how to use a keyboard, Dad will be typing on their behalf [editors note: sorry kids if your Dad's an embarassment, you can always delete this post (and any of the others) when you buy your own computer...].
Our plan is to submit a post at least once a week so that you can see how we're getting on, how much we've grown, what we're up to, and what ridiculous things our Mum & Dad have made us do.
So to kick off let's wind the clock back to the 24th May 2007 - our adventure begins.
So everything's pretty dark at this stage.
We're relaxed, doing some simple division, taking some serious drugs (thanks mum, you're already too cool for school) and generally not bothering one another.
All is well in the world.
Don't forget to subscribe to Posts using the link below - it will push a feed into your email application every time we submit a post. That way you don't have to remember to look us up every week!
If you don'tunderstand what the hell we're on about, talk to Dad.
